Installation instructions - ATV / Quad
|
 |
The Loxsit system contents include, ground anchor, Loxsit hook, puck padlock (two keys supplied),
four bolts and drill bit.
Once the Loxsit ground anchor is fitted, which takes approximately thirty minutes, you will then
be ready to secure your property in less than thirty seconds first time and every time. The Loxsit
system is a complete kit; you will need a standard electric drill and a 19mm socket or spanner.
Place your ATV in position with the Loxsit hook placed over the part of the ATV recommended by
the list on the reverse of these instructions, this is generally 18 inches from a wall, the
rear of the ATV will face the wall, this is important to gain the full security benefits the
Loxsit offers.
Place the ground anchor in position, beneath the base of the hook with the retaining pin
from the ground anchor coming up through the hole in the hook, then lock the padlock in
position with the lock facing the hook. This is your 'trial' fix, you should ensure the base
of the hook covers the ground anchor, and the padlock key is facing the hook. This is important
to ensure you do not have the ground anchor facing the wrong way, if it all fits together then
you have the parts the correct way around.
Next carefully position the ground anchor ensuring it is facing the correct way i.e. the
same way as your trial fix, and using the 19mm socket or spanner fix the bolts through
the holes. You will find the last inch is tough going but it is important the bolts are
fully seated, flush with the top of the ground anchor.
|
| That's it, the one off fix is over, you are
now ready to use the fastest and most
secure ATV security system on the
market, congratulations. |

Installation instructions - Trailer
|
 |
The Loxsit system contents includes, ground anchor, Loxsit hook, puck padlock
(two keys supplied), four bolts and drill bit.
Once the Loxsit ground anchor is fitted, which takes approximately thirty minutes, you will
then be ready to secure your property in less than thirty seconds first time and every time.
The Loxsit system is a complete kit; you will need a standard electric drill and a 19mm socket
or spanner. Place your trailer in the position where you normally store it. Move to the front
of the trailer, decide which of the two trailer arms extending away from your ball hitch you
prefer to secure the trailer from. Next place the Loxsit ground anchor on the ground directly
underneath one of the trailer arms, ensure the narrow part of the anchor is on the inside of
the trailer arms, with the larger piece (where the holes are drilled) on the outside of the
trailer arm. To ensure correct positioning place your Loxsit hook onto the ground anchor as
per the Operating Instructions. When complete you should ensure that the trailer arm is roughly
in the middle of the hook. Now carefully remove the hook while maintaining the position of the
ground anchor.
Mark the position of the holes, and move the ground anchor to one side. When drilling the
holes ensure you drill to the full length of the drill bit, clean out the hole leaving as
little debris as possible (if you want you can hoover out the debris), this is vital to
ensure that debris does not obstruct the bolts which need to be fully seated in the ground
anchor. Do not be overly concerned if your concrete is not the full depth of the bolt,
generally two inches is sufficient. The system will work in tarmac but clearly concrete is
the stronger material.
|
Next carefully position the ground anchor ensuring it is facing the correct way i.e. the same
way as your trial fix, and using the 19mm socket or spanner fix the bolts through the holes.
You will find the last inch is tough going but it is important the bolts are fully seated,
flush with the top of the ground anchor.
That's it, the one off fix is over, you are now ready to use the fastest and most secure
Trailer security system on the market, congratulations.
